Mateusz Urbanowicz
Mateusz Urbanowicz is a Polish-born, Japan-based illustrator. He used to work for anime production company Comix Wave Films, where he worked on background art for many works, including Your Name. In 2017, he struck out on his own, publishing long-selling artwork collections such as Tokyo Storefronts and Tokyo at Night. His works have garnered many fans around the world.
About the Works
I use sketchbooks and notebooks every day to memorize interesting elements of everyday spaces and as a free creation ground for almost all my drawings and paintings. All my art starts from a rough squiggle on a page.
