Kenji Nakayama
Kenji Nakayama is a Hokkaido-born, Boston-based visual artist and sign painter. After moving to the USA, he graduated from the Butera School of Art, a specialist sign-painting school. He has worked on the designs for many billboards, along with many art projects and designs for company branding.
About the Works
I tend to practice on white paper, and that's what inspired me to be a part of this project. My unstructured, scribbly script expresses the way I never follow guidelines—my focus is on the rhythm of my writing and the balance between the letters and the white paper.
